A line runs between two cities. Name every country it passes over.
Each round draws the shortest path over the globe (a great circle) between two cities. The map is centred on the line so it runs straight across the screen.
The map is blank: no coastlines, no borders. Each country appears once you name it, and the whole map is revealed when the round ends.
Name every country and territory the line crosses, including the two the cities are in. Water doesn't count, but every bit of land does, even a clip a few kilometres long. The counter tells you how many there are.
Any Order: each country you find lights up on the line. Score = share found × 100, minus 10 for each wrong country. Give up whenever you like.
In Order: go from the start city to the end city. A country counts once, where the line first enters it. A wrong answer is a strike, and three strikes end the round. Score = share found × 100. The map is turned so the line runs up the screen, and the camera starts at the start city. Each country you name lights up its section, and the camera follows the line to where the next one begins. When the round ends, the map shows the whole line north-up. If you pan away, Look ahead brings you back.
