Ten countries, one statistic. Split them into two sides whose totals are as equal as possible.
Each round deals ten countries and a statistic such as population or coastline length. The values stay hidden. Move every country to the left or right side so the two totals end up as close as possible.
Sides can be any size. One giant can be balanced by nine small countries. Each side needs at least one country.
Use the arrows on a card, or drag it. Cards already on a side can be dragged back to the middle.
Scoring: the gap is the percent difference between the two totals (the difference divided by their average). You score 100 − gap, never below 0. A 55 / 45 split is a 20% gap, worth 80 points. After you submit, you'll see every value and the best split that was possible.
Figures are approximate. CO₂, internet users and forest area are worked out from per-person and percentage figures.
